So, what’s the big fuss with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette? Is it as awesome and amazing as social media has made it out to be or is it a flop? Keep reading to find out! Anastasia Beverly Hills has boomed as a brand in the last decade. They’re known for a range of their brow products and their amazing eyeshadow palettes like the infamous Modern Renaissance palette. And don’t get me started with their beautiful, magical Glow Kits. The ABH brand has become a must for every MUA, beauty guru and makeup junkie in the world. When ABH announced the release of their new Subculture palette, as a makeup junkie, I knew I had to get my hands on it ASAP. When I first received the palette the first thing that caught my eye was the packaging. It’s outside is covered in this soft velvety teal color and is engraved with gold writing “Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette” UGH. It’s so dreamy. But the real dreaminess happened once I opened the palette and saw the colors inside! I mean heart eyes for days! The color ranged from a soft, dusty peach color to a deep burgundy color all the way to beautiful, rich blues. The palette also included three shimmer colors one in an iridescent white, the next in a bright lime colored green and lastly one in a rich copper color. I was so excited to swatch the colors to get a feel for them. The look I decided to go for was a bright half cut crease. The shades I used to accomplish this look are “Roxy” “Untamed” “Axis” “Dawn” and “Electric”. The final look turned out really nice. All I would say about the product is that it’s very powdery so be mindful of lightly tapping your brush into the colors. All in all, I would give this palette a 4.5 stars out of 5. I definitely recommend all of you makeup fanatics to go out and try
this palette, you won’t regret it!
